In the last seven years after the disaster of June 2013, Kedarpuri has now appeared in the new era, and behind this is the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The reconstruction of Kedarpuri is one of the Prime Minister's Dream Project. This is the reason why the Prime Minister's Office is keeping a direct eye on this project. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself reviews it from time to time. During the initial two years after the disaster, the arrival of the passengers was definitely limited, but then the journey destroyed all the new and old records.
For the first time last year, more than one million pilgrims reached Dham, which is the highest number in the history of travel. Reconstruction works are going on fast in Dham under the dream project of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Many of them have been completed.
Seeing the devastation caused by the disaster of 16 June 2013 in Kedarpuri, it was not possible that the journey would start in the near future.
But, as Kedarpuri went through the past seven years, the yatra also set new records. The manner in which basic facilities have developed in Dham after the disaster reflects the Government's commitment to Dham. One of the reasons behind this is the Prime Minister's self-monitoring of reconstruction works.
Not only Kedarnath footpaths in the disaster, Gaurikund The highway was also completely washed away from Rudraprayag to Gaurikund in many places. Now this highway is being constructed under Alavedar Road. Cutting work has been completed for this. Adequate arrangements have been made for the stay of the pilgrims in the Dham. And seven thousand travelers can stay here. 210 buildings have also been constructed for pilgrimage priests.
After the disaster, a ten-km-long walkway from Bhimbali to Kedarnath was prepared. Along with this, many small markets including Chhoti Lincholi, Lincholi, Rudra Point were also developed. There are all arrangements for the accommodation of the travelers at these places.
